Our Mission

This year, 2025, our mission is to start spreading the word of welshcakes outside of Wales. After opening the shop this year I have had the chance to meet lots of my great customers, many of which have travelled to Pembrokeshire from outside of Wales and I was shocked to learn how many of them had never heard of welshcakes before. This got us thinking that something needs to happen in order for welshcakes to get the respect that they deserve, they should be up there with the Cornish pasty! 

So this year on our social media pages we want to push our message and spread the word of the welshcake, putting Wales on the map as we go. We want to teach Welsh history and culture so that we can make a difference. If you want to support us on this journey theres a few ways you can make a difference. Sharing our posts and using #HonorTheWelshcake to spread the message online or sending our welshcakes to your friends and family outside of wales will help get our message out there.
